Process: Babies are Cute

Welcome back, I always enjoy your presence here. There's lots of stuff on the internet, so I'm pleased to see you back! I appreciate you :D

I did a huge load of studies for the Babies are Cute diptych. Inspired by Anne Geddes and a Flutterbye Calendar, a creative block and a good friend, these comical and unsettling babies were a lot of fun to draw. The most exciting part was how, by doing these studies, I got to know what babies faces looked like, and when it came time to do the extended drawings, I was able to draw directly from the creative source, unfiltered by reference photo and photographic distortions.
