I’m going to Mount Awesome and taking you with me: snowboarding my way to being a successful artist and I want to help other people join me.
Katanaville interviews artists, recommends art materials, discusses artworks, and talks about choices artists make to be artists. Written for anyone with a creative bent, anyone who wants to make drawings, anyone who’s set foot in art school, anyone who would be delighted to get pencil crayons in the mail.
I believe we can get our art out of the closet, out of the basement, and onto the internet. I am doing just that with this blog, and want to help other people do the same, and I want to talk about it.
I’ve won a few art scholarships, and am attending Emily Carr University in Vancouver, majoring in General Fine Arts. I’ve sold a number of paintings and have had art shows in the Concourse Gallery, and the Yaletown Gallery, both in Vancouver.
Most importantly, I would like to hear who you are. If you’re an artist, contact me (katana AT katanaville.com) so I can do a review of your website, share a link, or interview you about your practice.
And if you would like to know more… and get free artist secrets sent straight to your inbox every so often, then I’d like to invite you to get your free subscription to the newsletter, as well!
Share and Enjoy: Katanaville for your Friends!
